Here we introduce a range of questions frequently asked by our customers.
They provide answers for people that have never traveled in Japan before, who might have questions or might be feeling unsure about certain aspects.

 Can you make special arrangements for food and worship for vegetarians and Muslims?
We can make food arrangements to suit our customers' preferences by finding out information beforehand about their tastes, allergies, and the like.
We are as flexible as possible in order to be able to make arrangements for vegetarians and people requiring halal foods. In addition, at times of worship, we are able to provide appropriate spaces and carpets as required.
 What types of services have you provided in the past?

 I am visiting Japan for an international conference, but the conference hall near the hotel is fully booked. Can you make arrangements for the hotel only?
Global Lounge Hokkaido specializes in making multiple arrangements tailor-mode for our customers. We can only undertake multiple arrangements such as for accommodation + guide, guide + hire, etc.
 I have been asked to put forward a plan for traveling within Japan. Can you suggest sightseeing spots and schedules especially designed for foreigners?
We can make suggestions for sightseeing spots around Japan that are popular among foreign visitors.
 A number of people will be traveling to Japan from our various branches around the world to attend a conference. Can we ask you to make arrangements other than for hotels and sightseeing, such as for the conference venue, food, and the like?
We are able to make all the arrangements outlined above, as well as simultaneous interpreters, souvenirs, etc.
 A customer has said that they would like to pay for travel costs after they arrive in Japan.
Unfortunately, we require payments to be made before our customers' departure for Japan. Payments can be made by credit card. We provide an online payment form that customers can use with their credit card to complete online payments.
 A foreign visitor from a client company will be visiting Japan with his family. Are you able to provide childcare?
We can also suggest tourist spots and activities designed for children.
 Do you charge a handling fee at the time of reservation?
As our planning fee, we request payment of 10% to 15% of the total travel cost.

 Can a JTB representative visit my office for a consultation?
We often visit and hold meetings with representatives from companies based in Hokkaido.
We can also hold discussions over e-mail or phone with representatives from companies and departments outside of the local area. We can make arrangements and hold discussions with customers in any area across the country.
 Can I discuss my requirements with you even though my schedule does not involve stopping in Hokkaido?
We can also provide services for customers flying into Kansai International Airport and Chitose Airport.
 Can you make arrangements for airline ticket purchases and visa applications from abroad?
These are generally arranged by the customers themselves.
 When organizing a private trip, rather than going through the company's secretary or general manager, can a customer and JTB liaise directly for making all arrangements and payments?
We can liaise with customers directly for all stages of the process, from consultation to planning, quotation, payment, and other arrangements.
 Can you make arrangements for foreign visitors to go on overseas travel?
Global Lounge Hokkaido only handles travel arrangements for within Japan.

Planning/Arrangement Flow

If you were to try to make all travel arrangements by yourself, it would be likely to take a lot of time and effort, as you would need to contact each individual establishment to make inquiries, and so on.
Us at Global Lounge Hokkaido are happy to make all the necessary arrangements for our customers by following the process flow outlined below, making it very easy for them to make decisions.

Inquiry InquiryFirst, you tell us about your rough requirements, such as when you will be visiting Hokkaido, the number of people in your group, the purpose of your visit, and the like.
A representative then contacts you to request more details about the type of accommodation you wish to use, the type of food you require, your budget, etc.

Planning PlanningWe prepare a plan and a quotation based on your requirements.
We can also make arrangements for any additions or changes in your requirements.

Contract ContractOnce your requirements are finalized, you would need to fill in one of our application forms.
Based on the details filled in the form, we make all the necessary arrangements for hotels, guides, etc.

Payment PaymentOnce the arrangements have been completed, the final payment is calculated. We then contact you with detailed payment information. Payment must be made before departure (generally three weeks before) by bank transfer or credit card.

Hokkaido Visit Hokkaido VisitWe send you your travel itinerary via e-mail.
We also send you all other necessary information, including the meeting places for your guides and drivers, their contact details, etc. so you can set off on your journey with complete peace of mind.

* Global Lounge Hokkaido specializes in making multiple arrangements for tailor-mode tours. We do not provide services for individual requirements such as accommodation only or transportation only. Also, at the planning stage, we require the payment of a prescribed planning fee.

* We offer our customers a carefully-selected range of accommodation, by selecting only those that have acquired 85 points or more in overall rating based on JTB's customer satisfaction survey.

* Customers are requested to make their own arrangements for their international flight tickets and visa applications when traveling to Japan from abroad.
Depending on their requirements, we are also able to introduce customers to travel agencies that are able to make the above arrangements.
